Dusshera Activity

 

Dussehra is one of the most exhilarating festivals in India. It celebrates the triumph of good over evil, describing Lord Ram’s victory over the mighty demon King Ravana. Ravana‘s ten heads signify vices in human nature. On Dusshera, the effigies of Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhakaran are burned to represent the annihilation of evil.

Kaintal Preparatory School and Class I students celebrated Dussehra on October 4, 2022, with fervour and zeal. Lord Rama and his victory is honoured with prayers and celebrations. Children enjoyed watching an animated short movie on the smart board. Later a talk was held, with children’s active participation.
