Gurupurab Activity

 

Guru Nanak Jayanti is the sacred festival observed to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and a great spiritual guide who preached and enlightened the world on how to lead a truthful life. Guru Ji spent most of his life travelling to different places to educate the people to live in unity and peace.

Kaintal Preparatory and Class I students enthusiastically celebrated and commemorated the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birthday by reciting poems on Guruji. Children also spoke a few lines on Guruji’s life. As we remember and honour Guru Nanak Dev Ji, on this occasion may we all be inspired and blessed to uphold his commandments.
